R: Yes. You did.

M: I'm not to be held responsible. Blame Andrew Dorchest.

Her eyes wandered to Evangeline again. Sean was sitting at his own table, since he'd sat with the others at breakfast. He looked up and winked at Millie, causing her to bite her lip and blush.

Sirius snorted incredulously at them.

S: What's next then?

M: I have frees.

She picked at a limp piece of lettuce left over from her sandiwhc.

J: Same, and Peter.

R: Well, I have potions.

A: Brilliant.

Her voice was strained.

Millie glanced at Amy but didn't say anything to her.

M: Think I'll go to the lounge, catch up on my reading.

Remus frowned fleetingly at Amy.

J: Can I go with you? I'll be bored.

Millie scoffed, pushing her nose up in the air.

M: Ew, why would I want to spend my frees with you? You're just a puny little Gryffindor.

She teased, face breaking out into a soft smile.

M: 'Course you can.

Sirius stood with Amy.

A: Well I'm going down to potions.

M: Alright, think I will too. Oh, hold on. Gotta go see my man.

With a grin she got up and scuttled over to the Ravenclaw table.

M: Sean!

S: Thought I was never going to see you again!

He chuckled, pulling her playfully into his lap. She squealed half in delight and half out of nervousness.

M: Erm- hi Evangeline.

She waved like an awkward turtle, then turned and pecked Sean on both cheeks, arms around his neck.

S: I'll see you later?

M: Of course.

She smiled, biting her lip, then got up. Their conversation was barely audible to neighboring tables.

Amy wasn't paying attention to them. She looked at Lupin.

A: Potions?

R: Potions.

He stood with them.

R: Should we wait for Evangeline?

The woman herself was, at that time, hugging Andrew around the neck and pecking him on the lips with a grin.

R: I think she's coming over.

James went over to Millie.

Sirius did not wait. He strode off.

A: Well... She seems preoccupied.

Millie had said goodbye and was now waiting by the door for James. When he came over, she grabbed his arm, rolling her eyes at his slowness.

M: Hurry up.

She muttered, going off to the lounge.

R: Give her a second.

Evangeline kissed Andrew again, then got up and ran towards them.

E: Hi guys!

Amy mumbled a greeting.

R: Hi, Evangeline! Looked pretty cosy with Andrew Dorchest.

Evangeline blushed.

A: Sirius was getting moody.

She smiled as they set off to potions.

E: Tough for Sirius.

She decided not to mention that the real reason she was all over Andrew Dorchest was because last night, being so close to Sirius and realising that perhaps he more than fancied her had caused some very inconvenient feelings to brew within her. Feelings she thought she could crush with a bit of a canoodle with Andrew Dorchest.

Face stormy, Millie stalked in and plopped down into a seat. Day two of stabbing at a salad. She looked around for her friends but didn't see them there yet, or Sean, so she took out her little pocket broom and flew it around the table while she pushed her food on her plate.

Evangeline walked in shortly after her.

E: Hey, Millie. I'm going to sit with Andrew and Sean today, wanna sit with me? It'd be nice to have another girl there.

M: Oh, okay. Sure!

She moved her stuff to the Ravenclaw table, sitting so she and Sean would be sitting across from Evangeline and Andrew.

Evangeline smiled as she filled her plate - I say filled, she only had some chicken salad and boiled potatoes on her plate, healthy as she was.

E: What did Madame Moody say?

She teased.

M: Oh, the witch! She asked me why I was late, so I told her that I misread my schedule and lost track of time -- and I did, I was talking with James -- and she proceeded to ask me if I could read English properly, the nerve! I am an educated woman, all she wanted to do was patronize me! Then she took ten points from Hufflepuff.

Millie scowled, swirling her meat in her gravy.

M: I hate her, I really do. She's an awful, nasty woman.

S: Who is?

Sean entered at this point and sat next to her. He smiled in acknowledgement at Evangeline and slid his arm around Millie's waist, pulling her close.

M: Professor Morgana!

S: She reminds me of a bullfrog.
