RP Grand Hall

Andrew walked in shortly after, smiling at Evangeline and nudging her shoulder with his as he sat down.

A: Morgana? Oh yeah, we tend to call her Plimpy.

Evangeline gave a tinkling laugh and ate some lettuce with her chicken.

M: More like Plumpy. She's ancient and hasn't retired yet!

S: I'm fairly sure the professors don't retire until they die.

He chuckled, making slow circles on Millie's back. Then his hand moved down to rub soothing circles on her leg, just below the hem of her skirt. She glanced at him almost nervously but didn't say anything.

Evangeline was oblivious to Millie's discomfort.

E: How was your day then, Andrew?

A: Good. Kinda hard in some of the weaker intellects but K got through it. Reckon I could take those exams today and pass!

M: Sounds like you two are a perfect match, then.

Millie smiled at the both of them, still very much aware of Sean's hand moving up and down on her leg. The sensation was strangely foreign - her skin wasn't covered in goosebumps, and she didn't feel like her insides were melting. The only person who ever had that effect on her was R- him, He Who Shall Not Be Named, Jr. She passed her indifference off as just being nervous. Sean was her first boyfriend, after all.

Evangeline smiled up at Andrew.

E: So it seems.

A: The best looking girl in Ravenclaw.

He winked, arm going around her waist.

M: Aww!

Millie gave them a cheesy grin.

S: And the best looking girl in Hufflepuff.

Sean added, kissing her temple. Good God, it was a lovefest.

Evangeline put her head on Andrew's shoulder.

A: So Millie, what's your favourite lesson?

M: I'd have to say Charms or Transfiguration. They're my best classes, plus the professors aren't entire jerks. What about you? Probably all of them, if you're anything like Evangeline.

A: Well, yeah, I guess.

He laughed. Evangeline raised her eyebrows a little but said nothing. Obnoxious.

Sirius entered, spotted Evangeline, and swore under his breath.

Millie caught this and pursed her lips slightly. Sean cleared his throat to distill the awkward silence that followed.

S: Can't wait for the concert this weekend.

M: I know! I think I'm more excited to wear my outfit.

S: Think I'm too excited to see it.

He purred near her ear.

M: Haha, yeah...oh, there's Sirius.

Evangeline looked just a little too quickly.

E: He won't sit with us. We're at the Ravenclaw table.

James appeared behind Sirius.

J: Jealous, mate?

S: No.

He went and sat at the Gryfindor table, and Amy sat opposite.

M: Well, yeah.

Millie's attention certainly wasn't focused on Sirius, that was for sure. She was just considering the consequences of catapulting a spoonful of mashed potatoes at the Slytherin table when Sean grabbed her hand, provoking a thumb war.

Regulus was just flirting with Jasmine again.

J: Sure about that?

Jasmine was well aware of Millie watching. Well, two could play at that game. Millie turned to Sean, laughing when he beat her at their thumb war.

M: Hey, you cheated.

She teased, leaning close.

S: Nah, I won fair and square.

She played with his fingers on the table, where it could be seen.

S: Leave it, Prongs.

He started eating.

J: Whatever, Paddy.

Regulus only flirted with Jasmine even more.

Withholding her pout, Millie leaned against Sean's side with her head on his shoulder. Sean looked confused at her sudden affection, but he certainly wasn't complaining. All she wanted was for Regulus to look.

A: I'm so excited for apparition tonight!

Regulus was far too busy being fed chips.

J: Oh yeah, that's tonight!

A: Of course, how could you forget?

She took a sip of her pumpkin juice.

Millie suppressed her groan of frustration.

M: Damn you, Jasmine Zabini.

S: What?

M: Nothing.

Very suddenly, Sean leaned forward and whispered something to her that made her raise her eyebrows and blush fiercely.

Evangeline noticed, trying not to smile.

Finally, Millie gave up. This obviously wasn't going to work, not with Jasmine practically in Regulus' lap.

M: Well, I'm stuffed.

With food, don't get your panties in a wad. She pushed her plate away.
