J: Great, coming to the lake?

Remus and Evangeline got up at the same time, helping each other up because they were both sad and both polite.

Amy felt a bit left out, but Sirius flashed her a smile, and they both set off.

M: I suppose so.

Millie smiled, following everyone up. Sean came around to peck her on the cheek, as usual.

S: Off to runes. Catch you later?

M: Yeah.

He squeezed her hand and left for class. Millie smiled after him, her expression fond with a hint of confusion.

M: C'mon then, you slowpoke.

She said to James now, going out to the lake with him.

As Amy was at her detention, Sirius was the first of the group to reach the Gryffindor table.

Millie entered shortly afterwards. She sat across from Sirius and pulled a sandwich onto her plate.

James and Remus went and sat beside them in silence. Evangeline wasn't there.

Millie looked up at them.

M: Why is everyone being all quiet?

Their table was strangely empty.

S: I dunno.

He picked at his sandwich.

M: Alrighty.

Another few minutes of silence, save for the clinking of silverware.

M: Anybody see where Evangeline's gone?

S: Nope. And Amy's in detention.

Continued sandwich action.

M: Alrighty.

She repeated, also continuing her sandwich action.

Lily sat down next to Millie, smiling.

L: Hi!

J: Hey Evans!

L: James, hi.

She tucked her hair behind her ear, a blush spreading on her cheeks.

M: Hey Lily.

Millie smiled warmly.

L: Did you enjoy that lesson, then?

She grinned.
