RP Hogwarts Gazebo (Near t'lake)

Sirius continued his kisses but let out a breathy laugh.

S: You have clearly never partied with Amy.

Amy's face dropped, taking her lanky, disheveled boyfriend into her arms.

A: Do you want me to stay with you? I don't mind.

E: Clearly not... I'm not digging up any firewhiskey, Sirius.

She frowned despite his amorous attentions making her knees go all wobbly.

R: Gosh, no, don't be silly Amy. Enjoy the part. I'll be fine.

S: Do you... Want... Me to... Do it ?

His offer was punctured with him making his way back to her lips, following her slender neck.

A: But it won't be fun without you. Are you sure?

She pulled back to look at him.

E: If you do, you may receive more than a kiss at midnight...

R: I'm sure, have girls' night.

Sirius wasn't sure what that meant but immediately strode off into the trees to find the alcohol he had buried.

A: But I'll be bored anyway! Sirius isn't letting me drink. Please just let me look after you.

She reached up and stroked his cheek gently. He really did look ill.

Evangeline was going to returned to Amy and share the news when she saw her in conversation with Remus.

R: Amy...

He sighed and put his hand over hers. His stomach twisted with guilt over the lies he was telling her, making him feel even worse.

R: I'll only be asleep anyway, why don't you hang out with Evangeline?

Amy felt a little hurt that he didn't want her to stay with him, but didn't know what to say to make him want her with him.

A: Remus...

Sirius emerged, holding a dirty box.

Dumbledore: What is that you're holding, Mr Black?

Sirius replied coolly.

S: Hats.

R: Amy, please don't look like that. I don't want you stuck with me for the night, enjoy yourself.

He kissed her gently but swiftly on the forehead, feeling fatigue set in as he realised he ought to go soon, the sky darkening.

Dumbledore nodded sagely, wisened eyes closed and fingertips touching, making an arch shape.

D: I see. Of course. After all, what is New Year's Eve without a little whimsy?

She paused and then stood on her tiptoes to give him a proper kiss, only a short one but still sweet.

A: Okay. I'll have to kiss Peter at midnight though.

She grinned.

Sirius nodded in agreement and ran to meet Evangeline.

S: Got them.

R: Or... you could save the kiss.

He suggested, lips pursed, smiling despite the knot in his stomach and the uncomfortable prickling up and down his skin.

Evangeline rutted when she saw his dirty hands.

E: Surely you know cleaning spells, Sirius.

A: Okay, for you.

She kissed him again and then stood back.

A: Goodnight.

S: Sorry I was in a rush.

He leant in to kiss her.

R: Night.

The guilt he felt was considerable, but couldn't be helped. He sloped off to the shack, where Peter would be waiting to help him before the others came.

E: Clean first then kiss.

She said, stepped back so he kissed air.

Amy waved after him sadly.

Sirius flicked his wand silently and the mud cleared from his face.

Evangeline smiled and pecked him on the lips. It suddenly occurred to her that Sirius might keep hold of the firewhiskey so she couldn't give it to Amy. Hm. How to get around that?

E: Sirius, um...

Think! Get rid of him!

E: While you were gone... um... someone... well they walked past and uh...

Eureka!

E: They slapped me on the bottom. I didn't see who, they'd gone before I could do anything.

Sirius stiffened.

S: Who was it? Where'd they go?

He looked around, eyes steely.

E: They went into the crowd. I didn't see much, but they were male, about four feet tall with red hair and brown eyes, slim build but with one leg fatter than the other, and missing their left pinky.

Sirius' forehead creased.

S: Are you sure? That's a bit of a weird description.

He scanned the crowed and yelled, spotting the culprit and running after them.

Evangeline grinned, looking at the box he'd set to one side.

E: Yes...

Picking it up, she darted over to Amy, beaming.

E: Hey, I- what's wrong?

Amy shook her head.

A: Remus is ill and won't let me look after him.

She sniffed.

Evangeline curled her fingers around Amy's hand.

E: I'm sure he means well.

A: Yeah...

She looked at the box in her hands.

A: You did it!

E: Did you ever doubt me?

She smiled in a way that would have been mischievous had she looked less angelic.

E: He's going to be so angry with me, I hope you appreciate this.

Amy flung her arms around Evangeline, retreating and taking a bottle. She flicked it with her wand and it opened.

A: To Sirius!

She took a big gulp.

E: Amy, should you be drinking whiskey from the bottle? I mean, it seems awfully strong.

She said, looking down at the bottle in her own delicate hand. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all...

A: Lighten up! It's New Years and my boyfriend is sick!

She took another swig.
