RP Lounge blahblah

R: I'm not overly fond of her when she gets like that.

Regulus mumbled, not looking at anything for me that five seconds, eyes restless.

M: She is a major...poo.

Frowning, Millie dropped into the armchair across from him and looked at the carpet.

M: Do you want to do something on New Year's? I don't know what. Something, anything, really. I heard some sixth years saying they're going to be setting off fireworks.

She asked suddenly, as if the previous scene never even happened.

R: Haven't you been invited to some pathetic party in the Gryffindor dorm? That's what usually happens.

M: I don't know. The others haven't mentioned anything about it. But, I mean, if it's pathetic...

R: Well, I think it's pathetic.

Regulus put his nose in the air cos he was a haughty little git.

Yeah she noticed.

M: Yeah, so...I mean, is that maybe a maybe?

She picked at her sleeve.

R: If you don't have other plans by then.

M: Okay, cool.

She smiled at him, was a bit of an awkward penguin for a second, then got to her feet

M: I'd better be getting to breakfast, then. And sorry about Jasmine being, y'know, Jasmine. But you do have strange taste in friends.

Why was she apologizing? Eh, whatevs. She glanced at him, seeming to weigh her options, before she leaned down and pecked his cheek, cos she was cute like that.

M: Merry Christmas.

She was gone as quickly as the kiss had come.

Regulus kinda sat and looked at a wall.

Amy walked in with Evangeline.

Evangeline felt a smile tugging at her lips.

E: How has your day been, then?

Amy wondered if she should elaborate on her fathers news.

A: Er... Festive.

E: Mm. Good. Same.

Her lips continued to twitch, as if itching to share her day, too.

It was just them. Amy needed to talk.

A: Actually it was crap. My dads remarrying.

Evangeline's smile dropped. Her brows knitted and immediately she took Amy's hand in hers, her own news forgotten.

E: Oh, Amy...

A: No it's fine! Just weird- you know?

She felt a bit guilty. Ruining Christmas.

Evangeline kissed her friend's hand, sitting closer and putting a consoling arm around her shoulders.

E: I can imagine it would be.

Amy sniffed a bit then shook her head.

A: She's a lovely woman. I'm being stupid.

E: You aren't. You have a right to feel this way.

A: Well... Whatever.

She smiled at her friend, wanting a distraction.

A: Wanna talk about your day?

E: It seems silly now, it doesn't matter.

And yet the smile once again switched.

Amy laughed, raising her eyebrows.

A: Come on!

E: Did you happen to uh, catch on to what Sirius was hinting at? Not so subtly...

Amy's face broke into a childish grin.

A: No way!

Evangeline's lips pursed to try and force back her sheepish beam.

E: Yes... way.
