M: You obviously haven't listened to yourself then.

Millie murmured so quietly that he wouldn't hear.

M: Anyway...

Regulus tutted and kept cleaning.

Millie did the same.

M: Going to the concert Saturday?

Just her tone gave away the fact that the thing she was most looking forward to was showing him up.

R: Yep.

M: Cool. Same.

Head bobble.

Regulus said nothing, infuriatingly.

Millie cast him an annoyed glance and settled on returning the silent treatment. The only sound that came from her was the clanging of the cages.

Regulus suddenly went over to Professor Lineman.

R: I've finished my half of the cages.

PL: Oh, very well, off you go, Mr Black. I trust you will not forget your homework again?

R: I wouldn't want to endure this again.

He assured him, then collected his bag. As he left, he saluted Millie.

R: Always a pleasure, Rugmold.

Millie rolled her eyes; he didn't exactly do half.

M: Oh, the pleasure's mine, sourpuss. Give Jasmine my regards. Try not to wake the whole school this time, either.

R: I can be quiet, she often has a hard time containing herself.

He winked and left.

Millie stared after him. She finished in a few minutes and went up to Professor Lineman.

M: I've finished too, professor.

Prof: Lovely, you may go now, Miss Rugwald. Oh, and if I may so so, Miss Rugwald, jealousy is not a flattering color on you.

Millie looked indignant, while the professor merely looked amused.

M: I am not jealous of Regulus Black! H-He's a self-centered, narcissistic, mendacious ass! I mean, he's got soft hair and all, and I suppose his eyes are kind of nice, but-

Prof: I don't think it's Regulus you're jealous of...forgive me, dear, I'm an old man who should know better. Never mind what I said. Hurry along now!

He winked at her before returning to his grading. Speechless, Millie left.

This was an obvious case of inappropriate conduct by a teacher, with mild sexual connotations.
