RP Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom

Millie looked around, then at Evangeline.

M: Partner? If you want, I mean.

E: I'm fine. Yes.

Evangeline scowled at Sirius' back.

J: What did Evangeline say to you?

Asked James quietly as Remus grabbed his friend.

M: Okay.

She smiled brightly and shifted closer to Evangeline, as if signifying that she was "taken".

Lily stood, partner less.

PA: So, today we'll be working on nonverbal spells. Inferi are quick, powerful, you need to be able to cast a lumos maxima or incendio at speed and discreetly.

Remus saw Lily on her own, explained the situation to his friend, and stood by her.

R: Prefects together?

J: I asked you a question, Mr Black.

He mocked.

Millie nodded along with the professor.

L: Thanks Remus.

S: Oh, uh... I don't know.

Evangeline stood a few steps back from Millie.

PA: First of all, try a simple 'lumos', and we'll work our way up. Focus on being completely and utterly involved with the spell. Feel the magic in you and direct it.

With closed eyes, Evangeline thought 'lumos'. The tip of her wand lit up dimly for a brief second.

E: How did I do?

She asked Millie.

R: Don't worry about it!

He smiled.

R: Do you want to go first?

J: You don't know what she said to you? Seems unlikely.

M: You almost did it!

Millie tried next. Her wand did the same, except it kept flickering on and off, like a flashlight that was running out of batteries.

L: You go, Remus.

S: Leave it.

E: Well done! Not bad for a first try!

Evangeline tried again. The light was brighter but just as fleeting.

R: Alright...

Eyes closed, he thought 'lumos'. A sickly light was cast.

J: She didn't look like she was bullying you, diddums.

James flicked his wand and a dim light shone consistently from his wand.

M: Good job! It's getting brighter.

Millie thought 'lumos' with much more thought this time. The tip of her wand flared a very bright light before it went just as it came.

M: I saw it, I saw that one!

L: Good! My turn!

She concentrated, and her wand shimmered a bit.

L: Ooh!

S: I didn't listen.

E: Well done!

James frowned at Sirius.

J: She could've been flirting with you. Don't tell me you don't wanna get down with that.

R: Wow, you're really good!

M: Thanks!

She grinned, looking breathless, and continued practicing with Evangeline.

Eventually, Evangeline beamed and managed to do it.

E: Yes!

M: You did it!

Not long afterwards, Millie did it as well.

S: Get down?

He shook his wand, and it lit up, quite brightly.

L: Thanks! You go!

PA: Wonderful, ladies, first in the class! Now, try lumos maxima. It may take you a-

Evangeline had done it.

J: Y'know, get jiggy with it. Ball. She's a choice chick, you'd be a fool not to at least try and cop a feel.

(YOU DONT NEED TO SAY LUMOS MAXIMA TO TURN ME ON)

After a few more tries, Millie got it.

M: How are you so good at this?

(NO)

E: Oh, I don't know. Beauxbatons is an exceptional school, and I've had an extra year.

Sirius watched Evangeline.

S: Cop a feel?

M: Oh, that's right.

Millie smiled and continued to practice until she could do the maneuver flawlessly.

M: Sirius is staring at you.

She whispered to her.

J: Touch her bum, or boobs, or both. Preferably both.

James hissed urgently, getting his wand to light up.
